On Monday I was lucky enough to catch up with an amazing lady, who I can honestly say has been a truly inspiring mentor for me for almost 35 years.

She was the merchandiser who taught me how to calculate margins and how to manage stocks to maximise sales and profit. Over the years our paths have continued to cross and literally every time we speak she shares with me, her pearls of wisdom. Her knowledge is outstanding and as she quite rightly says

“no-one has a bigger black book of industry contacts."
